Driving Directions Montserrat
MONTSERRAT is a British overseas territory and one of the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean Sea. The island is rugged, heavily forested and mountainous with active volcanoes.
Many of Montserrat’s inhabitants left the island between 1995 and 1998 because of a series of volcanic eruptions in the Soufriére Hills, which also caused the virtual destruction of the country’s capital, Plymouth.
